Default Porting own TB

Well I still got my old stock TB and I want to have some fun by porting it.
Is there a site that has a detailed way of doing so with pics???

Also how many CFM does the stock one flow??

I'm porting mine now.

Somewhere I saw a diagram of the "hourglass" shape inside the tb (wouldn't have known it by just looking at the tb, but you can definitely feel it).

In another place, I remember seeing where somebody epoxied their tb and showed where they drilled a couple of holes in the epoxy to keep the pcv and iac functional. Probably one of the sticky links at the top of some of these forums.

I didn't measure the restriction before I started porting, but I have another old untouched tb laying around, so I'll probably measure the ported and unported one to see how much it improved.

i helped my friend port his last week...came out great but just be prepared to devote a LONG TIME to it. it took about 6 hours to fully grind it, wet sand it and polish it out nice and smooth. looks killer tho.

Agreed. It took me more than a couple of days off and on (also had to wait for epoxy to dry). It turned out pretty good (but a PIA):

Looks good man! I ported my own also and compared it to a friend's TR ported one and mine was alot smoother and refined. I just couldn't anty the $150 for one when I can do it myself just as good or better. Lotsa Elbow Grease!
