I took it to my local exhaust shop to have it welded other then the clamps. Took them about an hour to install it. I was worried the tips were gonna be to big but they look perfect back there.

Hey OP, anymore feedback on the PHAB exhaust? I just ordered the same catback and was just curious. Also did you go with the 4 inch tips? Couldnt tell from the vid, car sounds great BTW.

Right on glad to hear the quality is better than what I would expect. I"m mainly curious about any fitment issues and what size tips were in that video. I purchased the 4 inch quad and i'm wondering if I should have gone with 3.5. Guess it's a little late now but I'll grab some pictures and a video too and report back.

I took the gamble as well and I'm glad I did. I came from a terrible catback setup to this and it was night and day. The cabin noise has been reduced to 1/2 of what it was, car is smoother and just all around MUCH better to drive. I swear most of my rattles went away too. So I have BBK Longtube and ORY and after the Y I had an old Flowmaster catback I-pipe with a Dynomax bullet and it was cut to a turn down just after the axle. While that did sound mean as hell it was flat out too much after a while. Even adding sound deadener in the back hatch area and the doors helped a little bit it was still too much to deal with when driving, this is my daily driver.
Install was not super smooth but no major issues. One of the clamps was crap and I ended up welding one section to keep it in place. The passenger side outlet pipe that the tip connects too was not straight so we had to apply some heat and bend it down a bit, see pics. The tips they gave me were 4" however they did not fit the rest of the exhaust, they were way to big. We had to expand the pipe and weld them into place ( no clamps for these, have to weld them). All in all though it turned out great, product looks good, sounds good, was not heavy. $315 to my door
Old Exhaust removed
New setup ready to go on
Notice the height difference from driver to passenger, had to bend the passenger pipe down a bit
Shot of the rear with 4" tips, looks perfect
Video after install, warm start. Will try to get a video driving tomorrow if the weather holds.

phab exhaust
I like the sound of the exhaust you made up my mind too buy the phab exhaust instead of the obx . I know the phab exhaust will sound different on my car with factory manifolds & cats but has to sound better than the exhaust I have on it now. The price of the exhaust is with in my small budget thanks for the info

I almost bought this, but the Loudmouth 1 or 2 with any tips being $319 shipped at the moment I spent the little extra. Sounds good though, I'm sure they sound similar.

Had been planning on buying this exhaust for a while cause I was going to modify it and it would have been a good starting point but I just looked it up again and it went from $325 to $1550!!!! I don't know if it's some kind of error but it's been like that for a few days now so I'm guessing the people at phab have lost their collective minds? Maybe? I don't know but I guess I'm in the market for a used catback to hack up or I'll buy a legit slp
