Which resonator to choose?
First off I don't have any specific one that I am leaning toward. This is more of a suggestions for me.
So the car is a 2000 SLP with the SLP lid and headers from SLP. After the headers is appears that it is straight piped all the way back. I will also mention that there look as if there is a "resonator" (sounds straight piped) there that is 3in on each side and 4in in the middle. The exhaust is center exit as well.
The car is one loud son of a gun and it has gotten to the point it is annoying, more for other people but I could use it quieter as well.
Do any of you exhaust gurus have any advice. I have not yet taken it to an exhaust shop and frankly I don't really think a resonator will solve my problem but figured what the heck.

Have a Magnaflow 14419 muffler put in place of that LM1 resinator. I had that same setup as you and hated it. Then put in the 14419 muffler and it sounded much much better. The physical dimensions are almost identical so it works out real nice

Thanks guys for the replies. I will look into those. The car sounds good at idle but when the engine is under any load it is overbearing for everyone.
