Default Catch Can install

I'm installing a catch can and I have two separate opinions regarding this hose. Should I remove it and cap off the nipples or leave it connected? So far, I've gotten 1 yes and 1 no.

The engine is in a 2000 Corvette (LS1) and I have installed the 2004 valley cover and plan to install the catch can to the valley cover PVC nipple and the manifold nipple near it, replacing the pigtail hose.

No, you need it. That's your fresh air inlet source, so leave it installed.
