Default full race exhaust opinions (can't make x work)

So basically I put together this exhaust for my car...it's a max effort stock cube nitrous car, it sees mild street time so I found this setup I made to be perfect. However I have a umi body mounted torque arm...thinking it would be easy I jigged the crossmember up and welded it straight across thinking it would then clear...WRONG . So now I'm at the point where I need to get out and start testing my car for the season, I'm thinking about putting together a full race setup that will be about 2 ft off the header dumped on each side...do you think this will make more power for when I'm not street driving, and does anyone have any pics of similar setups? I'm basically going to weld the bullet in the center of the summit turn down..

Yup header dumps are great for a race exhaust.

Why not check out Mid West Chassis' crossmember for body mount torque arms that clears the exhaust you have already built?

turns out the mwc crossmember is for their heim style mount on their torque arms and not the umi style...back to the drawing board i guess..

Well that stinks! I was hoping you could have gotten away with their crossmember! Good to know that it wont work though!

looks good and definitely will be LOUD.

I was only going to suggest using an x pipe that says on right side of TQ arm.

I run true duals with a x and a umi chasis mount torque arm. Just get the chassis mount that drops down and mount the X in the center.
