Default Need assistance from someone that has an LS1 cam handy

This morning I was installing my timing chain set and wasn't paying attention and I think I accidentally put one of the 3 cam sprocket bolts in the center hole of the cam. I can't reach it to get it out. How deep does that go? I'm going to pick up a magnet and see if that will do it. Damn ....

If anyone can please help, I would greatly appreciate it.

A magnet should easily get it.

Thanks ... I picked up a couple of telescoping magnets that should do the trick. Yeah ... I got distracted and after it fell out of my hand, I was like %%&& -it!! Trying to prying it out, I pushed it out of reach. I'll hit it later when I get home from work.

The clink of the bolt to the magnet was like music to my ears.
