Default Looking to buy headers and change the intake manifold questions?

Hello all,

So i have a 1999 Camaro SS M6. Nothing radical to it but a few minor bolt-ons. So im finally looking at buying a set of LT and i originally was going to buy the Ls6 intake manifold , but they seem rare these days. i do live in California, but I have friends that can help me work around emissions.

So what does the community recommend these days for LT and y-pipe? I know Kooks have been the best in the past, but is there a less expensive set that still has good fitment?
Should I still track down the LS6 intake manifold or is there a after market option that will be better than the stock LS1 manifold?

Thanks for the help.

Texas Speed and Speed Engineering make some good headers that are a good price. Also I'd just get a used Fast intake instead of the LS6

The Fast 102 will make the best power but you'll need different fuel rails. Otherwise a Fast 92 will be best if you want a direct swap
