Default Best way to diagnose exhaust leak

Aside from just listening around, my car is so damn loud its hard to figure out where sounds are coming from. I have this ticking that Im not sure is just the way these valve trains sound or its a minor exhaust leak and it drives me crazy.

I was thinking about blocking off both exhaust tips hooking up compressed air to the back of the exhaust and listening? Smoke bomb in the exhaust? The only thing is trying to find a way to block off the exhaust at the heads so it doesnt just come out. Idk. Im open for suggestions.

Try to spray some soapy water around suspect areas on a cold startup. Or try some Seafoam for a smoke show.

Probably just the typical LS sewing machine noise. Exhaust leaks are very identifiable and sound like an old pile of crap pick up truck. Pap pap pap pap.....

Hook a shop vac up to the muffler backwards, tape it on, go check for leaks. Works quite well!
