Default LS S13 Swap

Hi guys im currently in the process of swapping my s13 to ls series lm7 or l33 and i was wondering would the t56 trans from the 94-95 trans am mount up to the 99 and up ls blocks or is there an adapter plate required?

It does not work. It will mount but the input shafts are different lengths. You would have to disassemble the LT transmission and install a LS shaft and (I think) a few other parts.

Do you think it's worth doing that I mean I'm paying 500 for this t56 which puts me considerably lower than all the other peoples prices so I have wiggle room you know and is there anyway to find out what parts I need for the swap?

$500 ? Yea, it probably is. I've heard some say the LT1 version made by Borg-Warner was built a lil tougher than the LS1 built by Tremec.
Google it, there's even a You-Tube video.
Your going to love the swap, I drive a swapped FD.
