weind manifold
Hey i have one of those weind manifolds on my ls1 and im considering swapping to a fast92 is it worth doing.Fast92 in australia is about approx $1300-1500 not including tb will the gains be worth the money. For that sort of money i would expect a gain of 20rwhp would that be possible.I believe the weind is supposed to be similar to the ls6 is that correct?

Depends on the rest of the engine combo. Cam, heads, exhaust, plans...etc.
You might see some better IATs going from aluminum to composite material but if you are near stock or stock cammed you might not notice much difference for the very large cost.

Yes i have just installed a tick sns stage 2 and its got all the other bolt ons pulley etc not doing heads so i thought maybe do the manifold if there are some decent gains to be had.

Weiand was one of the first Ls intake designs to come out. A lot of guys stayed clear of it being its aluminum and the whole BS heatsoak thing. I personally don't think you would see anymore then 5-10 hp from the swap(if that) and would I probably use the money elsewhere.
