The answer to question 2 is your PCV is letting a bunch of oil into your intake. You'll need to install a catch can, since you already have the LS6 valley cover.

The answer to question 3 is no, those are not low profile bolts, but you should not need them.

I'm not sure about question 1 (they definitely don't look right), but did you tune the computer for the 42 pound injectors or just install them and start the car? If you did not tune for them, you are probably running pig rich.

I tuned them for 42,, no pvc yet, everything is just open,, I will get the catch can when I get it to where it will run.. I was still concerned about the intake gaskets, looks like they are not sealing around the bottom of the intake..Thanks for your help.

If you rev it, does it run, but then won't idle? If so, that usually indicates a vacuum leak. If the injectors are not seated - as it appears in the pictures - you could be fighting 8 vacuum leaks

yea it runs if I keep my foot in it,, I am going to put smaller injectors in it and try to seat them A LOT better than whats there,, the intake gaskets don't seem to be flattened out like all the other intakes I see,, mine has been on over a year and they didn't seem flat at all? That is why the question on the valley cover bolts is there,, Thanks again for looking and your help!!

Get someone to keep it running while you spray carb cleaner around the injector bases and the mani where it meets the heads. If the engine stumbles worse then there is the problem area.

I bought them used and they were NOT supposed to be milled,, I even asked the guy that did the valve job and he said he thought they were not?? I have been reading on here about ls6 intakes and vacuum leaks,, seems they are prone to it? going to try the 2 pass torque method when it goes back on,, with new gaskets.. Thanks guys for your help!!

OK, I have a new question for you. How long did you give it to try to learn its idle?

I just installed a set of 40-lb injectors four hours ago, and it did the exact thing you described - for 5 minutes. Now, I do know for a complete fact my injectors were seated fully.

For the first few minutes it was difficult to keep running, but if I kept my foot in it, it stayed running. Then, it started to hold idle a bit, so I took a slow trip around the block. By the end of it, it was idling great. Basically the same thing it does when installing a new cam.

SO - is it possible you just need to keep limping it along a little while longer to learn its idle?
