Throttle body/Intake combo
Have a 370ci 6.0 with ported 243s 2.08/1.6 valves with 212/216 550+? lift cam (custom spec'd). Have factory 78mm throttle body and 2000 model intake.
With all of that in mind, how much will a 90mm throttle body gain me, and do I need to upgrade the intake? With the TBSS I believe there are a lot of configuration issues to deal with like DBW and different style injectors. Not really looking to get into all of that.
I'm shooting for 400 to the wheels in a 5500lb 4x4. If I dont make quite that much I will be fine, but it would be cool to see!

Different injector ends and a 90mm TB are not "all that" to deal with,it's EASY.
I'll assume u aren't DBW right? If not,buy a 90mm dbc tb(same bolt pattern as a fast 90mm). If u have DBW 3 bolt and want to convert to the 90mm 4 bolt DBW,u can buy the Dr x torque rush adaptor(I did this)And if u have a gen 3 harness, buy the $40 plug and play injector adaptors if u don't want to wire in new injector ends. I chose the plug and play adaptors on mine...
TBSS is certainly the best deal....you're looking at a 10hp/10tq gain at the wheels MInIMUM. You can get it ported for $350 and gain another 15hp/15tq easily.
If u have $$$ to burn, a FAST lsxrt would probably give u another 5-8hp over the ported TBSS intake.

Not interested in shelling out that kind of dough for the FAST. If I take a stock TBSS intake and put a cable throttle body on it will the stock TBSS injectors work with only changing the plugs? No fitment issues otherwise? How do I go from my current return line to a returnless system?

On The Tree
Here's a pretty good writeup someone did over at performancetrucks.com that shows how to set one up by modifying the stock return-style rail:

I've also seen guys use the TBSS fuel rails by adding a Corvette filter/regulator where the rail meets the lines. Just depends how creative you want to get and how clean you want it to look lol.
