Is their any high tq aftermarket starters for ls1s? Just curious because both my old starter and my new one seem to be having a hard time with my motor.

Yes. We had to install one on my C5R. That thing busted 5 stock starters! I'm not sure where MTI found one but I know that it's been working well. Give 'em a call.

cool thanks guys, I check with MTI if this one goes, This new starter has a 1yr warranty so I guess I can just keep replacing it until I can get the upgraded one.
