Default Is their any high tq aftermarket starters for ls1s?

Just curious because both my old starter and my new one seem to be having a hard time with my motor.

Yes. We had to install one on my C5R. That thing busted 5 stock starters! I'm not sure where MTI found one but I know that it's been working well. Give 'em a call.

cool thanks guys, I check with MTI if this one goes, This new starter has a 1yr warranty so I guess I can just keep replacing it until I can get the upgraded one.

You must be running some pretty serious compression?

should be only 11.3 but the compression question has crossed my mind. what about not necessarily compression but no leakdown?
