OMFG is my car loud.It's OK for the track but there is no way I'm going to run this exhaust full time.Almost sounds like straight headers. I had a stock cat back from a firehawk and decided it was time for the most aggressive exhaust out there.So I switched to a X-pipe to 3"dual bullet mufflers .OMG can I hear the diff

I don't think it's that loud.........I ran open headers for weeks before my duals went on and there is zero comparison between the two for volume. Actually, after getting use to the open headers my duals sounded kind of weak

FWIW: I like my exhaust. I do not want to make it quieter on the inside, becaue I want to hear it In fact, when i took out my back seat a few weeks ago I also removed five pounds of the padding/insulation from under the carpet in that area and I can now hear the exhaust through the floor of the car very well if I have the windows closed since it dumps back there

Ditto that. I ran open headers, my exhaust is weak in comparison. If you want tame it down a little bit you can try the magnaflows. They are noticably quieter than bullet mufflers.

ditch the bullets, snag some XR1s... my 12 inch XR1s are literally twice as quiet as my friends 24 inch bullets... I have no internal noise whatsoever, no resonation, and the sound is pretty silent even at WOT inside... however outside from what im told I can shake pictures off walls when I pass buildings

Just change the mufflers and it will quiet it down some. Go with Borla XR-1's or Magnaflow 4x9's
