Replacing my Ls1 with a Thompson MS 383, its a 5.3/4.8 iron block. I there a delete kit for where the crank sensor hole is on the left rear side of the block or should i use a sensor or a freeze plug?

CKP sensor is on right rear of block (i.e. the "other" left).

+1 confused...

PCM and/or MSD 6LS ignition controller needs to see the CKP signal.

You don't delete it LOL. you need to get a new ls2 timing cover. Also the knock sensors are relocated to the side of the block instead of valley. So new valley cover as well as knock/cam sensor harness extension is needed. Places like TSP and scoggin dickey sell the conversion kits. Or just buy the parts seperatly.

Whoops I misread your post my bad. Thought you were looking to relocate it to the front of the cover from the rear. You stated that it's NOT in the rear currently, I thought you said it was moving from rear to front my bad.

You're talking about the CMP sensor... he's talking about the CKP sensor:
