Default Throttle Control

If I were to physically open throttle with my hand on a DBW system, without moving the gas pedal, how would the engine respond? Thanks.

Probably because no ones ever tried it. I imagine it would sound pretty horrible seeing as the pcm isn't seeing tps input from the pedal

Only 1 way to find out,and really..its only going to do 1 of 2 things. Rev up or stall out/stumble in idle.I would assume since it has a tps at the throttle body that it will probably still rev up in rpm but also throw a code for the pedal or something.Try it and report back.

Thanks guys. I have the throttle body for DBW and wanted to use it manually (with some mods of course) as a DBC setup. I will try and see. Or not.
