Default Same engine, different exhaust manifolds...

My 5.3 that I just picked up has different exhaust manifolds on either side. They have different collector sizes, but the visual difference is obvious.

Is this normal? I want to use the manifolds for a while until I get money for longtubes, it's a budget swap for now.

On a side note, can anyone verify that the stock manifold on a 5.3 will clear the steering column and mechanical clutch linkage in a 1969 firebird/Camaro?

Thanks.

Thanks, I guess I'll be looking for shorty headers or different manifolds for now.
