Kooks revised ory best flowing???????
I'm looking to buy a ory pipe to try to gain a 10th at the track over my high flow Catted y. The revised kooks looks like pretty nice merge and its outlet is 2.75 vs most 2.5 ( or are most 2.75 also?)does anybody know if this with mate up to my passetter let's? Also want opinions on best flowing ory. I'm running slp lm2 catback which I've read is 2.75 where it's meets the y pipe? Thx

I had the Kooks on my last TA and liked in. On this new one I am building I reached out to Pat G because he will be tuning it. He suggested the American Racing ORY. He said that it flowed better than Kooks. He is very highly regarded on this forum and in this area so I took his advise and went with AR LT headers and ORY. Since I am still waiting on my heads I still dont have any numbers to back that up. That being said...I don't think you can wrong with either brand.

Sorry, I missed that part. It seems like most companies Ys are designed to work with their own headers. I am not sure how hard it may be getting either brand hooked up to the PS headers. Might want to call some vendors and find out before making a purchase.

So you are running a Pacesetter catted y-pipe right now. If so for 50 bucks you can buy a FM merge and have it welded in and it will flow just as good. That's what I did

I have pacesetter headers also. I ordered a speed engineering y pipe and cut off the merge. I took a 4" piece of pipe and ovaled it and slipped it over the end of the y pipe. Welded it up and put a 4" cutout. There is virtually no rasp and it flows really well. I have a 3 1/2" cutout new and and 3 1/2 to 3 reducer I would sale both in stainless.
Ps don't make fun of my welds. Lol. Basically the first time I actually welded something.

Not sure. Last time I went to the track I didn't open it. I don't have the electric opener. I'm sure it will pick up something but not much since I have a adjustable borla catback with no plates. Plus my car is just a bolt on car. I built the exhaust so no mater what setup I run it will preform.
