Default header install help

how do u take the streeing shaft off?

undo the two bolts that you can see there and then just slide it off I think the top part slides off first. It might take a little bit of prying if its a few years old.

it sounds so easy reading the words . mine wouldnt come off so i had to bust out the grinder and take it to the block tab.

Yeah thats what I did too, figured it was easier to grind/cut off the casting tab then take apart the steering shaft.

Man guy it is one 11mm bolt and it will slide off with a little prying with a screwdriver and the steering shaft will lay over out of the way untill the install is complete. I also maters what brand of headers they are. Good luck.

Use an 11mm then from the front of the car with the bolt out move the mudguard and pry the bottom, upward with a flat screwdriver. I just jerked it and off it came, then pull the shaft from the topside toward the front to remove completely.

i got it off it was 2 bolts and it came off

I took the 2 bolts loose and the sumbitch wouldnt budge. This is when I was doing the poly motor mount...which was a PITA.
