Travis, I haven't put a lexan scoop on my car yet, but I do know the car is almost 2 tenths and 1 mph quicker in the quarter when the throttle body is out from under the hood and in clean cooler air. I'm going to guess I would see same results or better with the scoop on.

I talked with Steve Johnson at I/S, he said I wouldn't see as much performance increase on the bottle as I do N/A with the scoop.

thats whats up rob. some of these guys r *** holes and dont know wtf people talking bout. but to clear some things up for the *** holes that dont know wtf im talking about. is i have a single plane intake do you know what that is. its a mast intake with a 4500 accufab throttle body. instead of the throttle body being open under hood. what if i put front forward snorkle on the car like this

I bet you would see some pretty fair gains on motor, but only a few hundredths if any on spray.

I'd use Yellowbullet LSx sections for go fast questions from now on. You will get real good information and useful responses. Lol

It looks like 3 of those "A-holes" that posted have a few thousand posts on here so I would say they know quite a bit about whats going on around this forum and the F-body in general. So if THEY were stumped by the question, maybe it's the person asking the question that's the A-hole and is just expecting everyone to read their mind.... just sayin'.

Accufab makes more than 50 throttle bodies including a couple for stock and fast intakes.

Hood scoops can be placed in many locations on a hood. The Ultra-Z and Trans-Am hoods come to mind.

If you desire accurate information please ask questions that include the pertinent information.

I knew what the op was trying to say. I want to put a lexan scoop on mine. Anytime you can get a positive pressure in the intake it will gain. Don't care if it's .5 psi it will help. Innovative racecraft I think makes a lexan scoops.
