If the bolt torques down properly and sits fine over the hole it should work.. Should but it's a tiny gamble

Maybe add an oversized washer for extra insurance

lol thanks bro! this was my previous engine that was boosted and broke a rod and it pounded the hell out of the inside of that ls1 block just enough to move that bolt enough to push in out and crack that small piece. i don see any visible cracks outside or inside other than that missing piece...

yeah idk

Looks pretty random, but the gasket should still seal since the inside is intact

If its for a new built engine, and you're already spending money, then spend money and get a new pan. Otherwise, if its just to get by, it's should be ok, as mentioned.

I'd buy a new pan. One less little thing on your mind after assembly. Comes with windage tray, oil pump pickup tube, level sensor, gasket and bolts. It uses a different oil filter though.
