Default LQ4 intake manifold bolt questions

First post here. You guys have been a ton of help with my 6.0 rebuild.

Anyway, its all together, installed, and running pretty well. However, I have a vacuum leak around my intake manifold and I can't get the front bolt on the pass side to torque down. I ended up stripping the top 1/4 in of threads in the hole in the head. Im thinking I should be able to get a bolt that's a half inch longer and take care of it.

So my questions are:
1, are the sleeves and plastic washers required on the bolts?
2, what size are the stock bolts? 6x1.0, but how long?

The stock bolts screw in a lot more than 1/4". If that's all your were in, then you have other problems somewhere.
