Default Y pipe vs mufflers off headers

My car is a strictly street raced/track raced car that I drive everywhere. My set up now is eBay longtubes, custom y pipe with a flowmaster 3.5" merge,3.5" cutout and muffler dumped at the axle.

I'm debating dumping mufflers directly off the headers either single chambers, dynomax bullets or spintech 9000's.

Yes I know it will be loud etc. can't be more loud than my open cutout. Just more annoying since its off he headers.

But is there anything to pick up going to a set up like that? I've read some people picking up .3 and 3 mph. But I feel I have a really good exhaust set up that's not restrictive.

Edit car is getting a 850 carb.
