Hooker aerochamber
Anybody have any experience with a single in single out hooker aerochamber. I'm planning on running a 3" to 4" merge 4" cutout reduced back down to 3" and something similar to a Mufflex only a 3" system. Would the single aerochamber quieten the car down enough for a dd. I want the car pretty tame I just don't want tips.

Don't have any experience with a single in/out Aerochamber, but I do with the Hooker Maxflow. The Maxflow killed rasp much better than the dual tip Aerochamber I tried. I would look into the Maxflow if I were you. You can do a search and find many of the posts that I and others have written about it. Quiet in normal driving and authoritative when you get on it. I have a 3" to 3.5" FM merge back to 3" similar to what you're planning.

I've got the same set up on my 408 ws6 just into a hooker catback. Only down side I've found to it is I need to open the cutout before I can run it hard. My tuner says it's not safe with the cutout tune and it not open. I've got a cable and he emailed me both tunes so I can switch back and forth. Hopefully this car won't have enough flow difference to matter on the tunes.

I had a Hooker Aerochamber catback for a year. Still have the catback in my garage.
It is QUIET, but has a nice rumble that my friends and I all decided sounded like a lion in a cage growling. Barely louder than stock. Flows very well though.

I built my system for less than $300 and that's including both mufflers, all the pipe and mandrel bends, ypipe and all quality band clamps. I sold my custom 3" dual exhaust to build this kit to reduce noise, increase ground clearance and not limit flow.
I think it's important to say I was shocked to see the hooker max flow was made in China on the box when I received it. Dynomax in good ol USA.
