Default Converting LS6 pump to -AN fittings

Hi Everyone, I am in the process of converting my pump to -AN fittings and having some issues. To start off, my OEM res was damaged in shipping so I had one custom made to match it with male AN fittings on it. I followed some instructions I found here on cutting the male barb off the pump and installing a compression fitting (EAR-AT165010ERL) and an adapter (BRG-925120) and here is what I ended up with.

As you can see, there are a few problems with the end result.
#1 being that the pressure outlet is very close to the pulley, so close I don't think that I will be able to fit a hose end on to it.

#2 being that the low pressure fitting (the converted one) is way too close to the fitting on the reservoir. with the hose ends screwed on, they are almost touching

For the HP fitting, see here. For the LP fitting, you may have to use tubing....

I am wondering if can tap straight in to the pump rather then use this giant compression fitting AN adapter, then just use 2 90 hose ends.

The fitting that goes in the pump is more than a "fitting", it's got the bypass and relief valves built into it...

Ah, good to know. Looks like the only options are to try to find a -10an hard line or relocate the res...
