I am making plans for a ls build and swap and I have a questions about the engine harness. Here is what I have:

Lq4 Block with wiring harness and gas pedel
ls6 intake with fuel rail, injectors, map, etc
t56 6speed

So my question is should I use the lq4 harness and have it modified to match the intake, dash harness, etc? If so, what shop would you recomend to do the modifications?

Should I purchase a used harness from a ls6 or ls2?

I haven't been able to answer these questions through searching the forum. Thanks

I have a 95 firebird convertible v6 with a 5 speed. I am putting in a lq4 with ls6 intake, injectors, sensors, etc. I am going to have a t56 6 speed.

I thought about calling painless but I am sure they will just try to sell me their harness. I was wondering if I could use or modify my lq4 harness that came with the long block?
