99 camaro w/ trailblazer ss intake manifold
I've be searching on here and online for a couple days and haven't found much to go on.
I'm wondering about how and if the trailblazer ss intake manifold 12580420 will fit under the hood of a 99 z28. I know it's taller...but i also have a 2.5" cowl hood.
Obviously it could be made to go on the engine as i see people posting questions about fitting an ls6 intake onto their 5.3. I that case it seems that water pumps and other things need to be changed on the 5.3 to an ls1 style. But what about the internet way here?
I'm even thinking about the same intake for my ls4.
I see chatter about this dorman ls6 style intake but it looks mostly negative for some perhaps picky reasons. I'm not a racer so i don't care about the minutia of one intakes power vs the other vs price. These are daily driver cars for pleasure. I'm looking for ease of installation balanced with price point mostly. Both cars would benefit from either the truck intake or the dorman without question.
Thanks.
