Hs anyone seen a guy that has an air intake setup with a piece or bent 4" pipe that goes into a 4" conical filter in front of his radiator? i think it looks sweet and was wondering if nayone knows how to do it has a write up on it? thanx

i know SilverGhost on this board had it done, but he doesn't have it that way anymore the last time i saw the car. I know someone else posted a pic in the drag racing section along with other pics of their car, but i can't remember the person's screenname

I would advise against putting an intake that low. My friends car had a simular set-up, ran over a puddle and hydrolocked his engine just last week. His car is a custom turbo LS1 so he had a reason to have it so low. That would be pointless on an all motor engine. Just my $.02.
