Arrow Thoughts on new exhaust setup?

Kooks longtube headers >> Kooks ORY >> Powerstick in i pipe >> (Originally borla catback muffler replaced w/ dynomax, so one side is straight piped and the other has the dynomax)

I know I shouldn't be revving it when the engine was cold (why the revvs kinda sound like ****)

Feedback/Suggestions appreciated!

Sounds great at idle! Is it raspy at all though?

Thanks man! It actually used to be right around 2500rpms but the powerstick took about 85% of the rasp out. I'm going to get a video cruising around in it shortly this week.

Cool! If it doesn't rasp but is still loud like it is then that's perfect

This is how it used to sound with just the dynomax: (it had a lot of drone when cruising + had a cutout which I removed with the powerstick)

Kinda hard to tell in the video, but it sounds great at WOT. So the new setup has the power stick in the I-pipe, then the Dynomax is in the rear, like in the cross section where the stock muffler usually is?

Thanks! You got it. When I bought the car it had a Borla 3" adjustable catback system on it, so the dynomax just replaced the muffler. It's 3" all the way back from the collectors.

Very nice! I like that. How do you like compared to the old setup with the cutout open?

I had the DMH cutout in the i pipe and while it was loud as hell, there wasn't any tone to the car. Plus I'm pretty sure I had lost some hearing.

I see you still have the 10 bolt in your setup. When is the upgrade coming?!

Oh wow...Yeah that's loud then lol. To be honest, unless I run into some extra money, I'll just replace the 10 bolt when it breaks. I'm really surprised it has lasted this long with my mods, but it makes me really curious to see just how far I can push it now lol. When did you change yours?

There's some guy on Instagram named Dylanhiggs77 and I see him breaking those 10 bolts all the time and replacing them. (They are cheap as hell too compared to upgrading). I'm sure you can get it low 11's or even 10's but they are ticking time bombs.

I upgraded mine as soon as the 10 bolt broke doing a pull on a local highway. Called Moser the next week and pulled the credit card out lol.

Did you have to Truetrac on the 10 bolt when it gave way?

Nope. The 10 bolt was completely stock handling 490hp to the wheels. I picked the Truetrac from Moser when I ordered the rear. Was going to go with a spool but I heard those are hell on the street.

Maybe the Truetrac is what's saving me right now lol.

I didn't notice you had that in your setup. I actually wrecked the carrier and spider gears on mine.. if you aren't noticing any whining now they I'd say you're good.. for now

No whining as of yet. I never launch hard and get out of it if I feel wheel hop. Also only spray from 2ND gear on up. The spider gears were upgraded by the previous owner as well. I know it's all on borrowed time though.

Btw did you recently add some hp? Maybe I forgot or something but I don't remember you making 490 rwhp. Stock LS3 heads?

That's good then. You're spraying a wet kit right? Did you do anything to the fuel system? I've been looking at some kits.

I had it on a dyno a couple of weeks ago just to see if the weather makes a difference and it put out 490 to the wheels. Must have liked the colder temperatures because last time it put out 481 in 93 degree weather compared to the 35 degree weather we have in Delaware now.

Yup, stock LS3 heads.

Gotcha. Great number for a cam only setup. Yeah I run a single nozzle wet kit from NX. The only thing I upgraded was the fuel pump. Went with a Racetronix 255 pump and hot wire kit. It's a plug and play system, and all I did was the trap door method for the install and dropped it in. Pretty easy job

That's all?! I really want to run a 75 or even 100 shot on my car but keep reading about doing a standalone system and upgrading the fuel system, etc. What did you end up paying for the whole kit (if you dont mind sharing)

Well I already have 42lb injectors, but yeah that's all that's upgraded as far as the fuel system goes. There's no reason to go to a standalone setup with a small shot like that. My kit came with the car when I bought it, but this particular kit goes for around $550 new, and I probably have another $500 or so into it with accessories and whatnot. If I were you I'd so at least a 100 shot. What fuel pump do you have now? You'll need the right plugs and a way of pulling timing to
