low mount adjustable alternator bracket on iron block Im running a lq4 with no accessories at all. I have a crank pulley and alternator thats it. When I was an aluminum block I used the bmr alternator bracket. With the iron block even if I tap that boss on the block the bmr bracket will not work. Is there anyone who has low mounted an alternator on an iron block with an adjustable bracket? I like the look of having nothing on the top of the motor and keeping it clean so I do not want a bunch of pulleys.
