Front skinnies are on (still haven't purchased 15"DR's for rear yet). Got some 16" M/T until the 15"'s get ordered.
Thought I would try the M&H 17" radial racemasters on the front, they are about 4.5# heavier than the bias but wanted the safety/stability for when my son's starts driving it. Headed to the track Friday night for the debut

Finally got it down the track tonight...prep sucked (Fri T&T) and the DA was 2260! (80* and 95% humidity).
Managed a 1.67 60' (spinning) 7.44 @ 93.46 (up to my expectations considering the conditions).
I was using my buddy's 4+yo 16" M/T which I think was part of the hooking problem and the tune needs some work too...it was short shifting the 1-2 and bouncing off the limiter on the 2-3.
New 15" tires to go on the racestars are on order. I think with the bugs worked out, new tires, and some decent DA it will be in the 6.90's (not to mention there is at least another couple of hundred pounds to come out
)
