Trying to do this on a budget. The guy I bought the motor and the guy put the wrong cam in it. Cam Had no reluctor. Used a ls3 cam. If any of can up that would be great thanks

Hey, welcome to the forum! I would call one of the reputable sponsors to talk about your goals and let them help. If you do some searching in this section, you'll start to figure out a few names to call.

If you don't intend to swap pushrods or springs, I'd stab an LS6 cam in it and call it good.

I've done several drop in style camshafts, and camshafts that are designed to work with LS6/LS3 valve springs.

If you'd like I can help steer you in the right direction cam wise.

Welcome to LS1tech. For future reference, anything related to "internal" would be posted in the Internal Engine section on here. You'll likely get more response as well. Any of the vendors on this site can hook you up. Just be specific as to what you want and what you're looking to get out of the vehicle, and they won't steer you wrong.
