MEK 98 To 99-02 PCM swap
What's up guys...I'm looking at converting my 98 Z28s computer because it is annoying to tune and is a definite disadvantage that 98 owners can all agree on. So I recently found this PCM conversion kit from MRK Motorsports for $250. I know that the pack swap can be done with only a wiring diagram but I've converted a truck has harness to stand alone from scratch before and it's a pain in the *** so I'm looking for the easy way out.
My question is about the Pcm kit itself, has anyone ever used it before? Any problems or feedback you can give me before I take the plunge? Thanks

And he already flashed the latest OS on it and fixed the (98) specific stuff in the tune so the fuel will read properly since the 98 fuel sender and 99+ are different
$250 is a good deal considering a PCM by itself is $100 and you'll still need to unlock it via hptuners for $100 to flash the new OS/98 fuel segment
All you need is the wire harness to match up to the 99+ pinouts

That website also has the 98-99+ diagram so you can repin it yourself.
Basically labeling the old 98 wires and pulling wire out of the PCM connector and putting it in a new location the corresponds with the 99+ specific stuff..
Or you can purchase the harness done already and sell your current one to offset any cost
