Default Magnaflow X pipe muffler for 550whp? 3"in/out

So Ive got some 3" exhuast parts laying around and I was going to build a cat back exhaust (Already have headers, and cat delete). My concern is the muffler I have. Magnaflow X pipe muffler with dual 3" in and outs. To me it seems like you're taking two 3" pipes and tapering them down to one 3", then splitting them back to two 3" again.

I don't feel that the choke point of one 3" pipe inside the muffler is enough for roughly 550whp (Cammed LS6 with 150shot).

Any of you guys have any thoughts on this matter, or have any of you run this muffler with around that power level? If I were just keeping it all motor, I wouldn't hesitate to use it.
