Default Need Quick Help with Leaking Hoses

I got home today and thought I was running hot so I checked under the hood and one of the hoses has sprung a leak. It's one of the two off the water pump that I assume go to the heater core. My question is how does the hose connect to the hard line. Is it just a pressure fit and I can just pull it off? Also could I just connect the two lines going to the heater and bypass it for now? Thanks.

All the heater hoses are held in place with a clamp.
