Default LS6 vs FAST 78

Picked up a FAST 78 really cheap and wondered if it was worth the trouble to swap it for my LS6 intake.

If I remember they where just slightly better then the ls6 intake not by much, but like any other FAST they can be ported and really help them shine.

this one has been ported but who knows who did it and if they did a decent job, though.

It's worth it. I ported mine and made good power for cam and intake. Check my sig.

Definitely worth it. Power is made in the runners, and the Fast's are superior.

Me and the Dr. Always agree. I tell ppl if they find a fast 78 for cheap scoop it up. I made 427 rwhp with a 234/246 camshaft and that intake with a ported stock throttle body.

The only other suggestion I'd make is seriously ditching that FlowMaster CB for ANYTHING else, unless yours is some custom setup... The FM's don't flow well AT ALL for an FBody

actually ditched the flowmaster muffler a while ago, replaced it with a Magnaflow.

looks like I am going to clean this FAST up and throw it on.
