Default Oil Pan question

Is there any difference between the dorman ls1 oil pan compared to the GM oem one besides 60 dollar price tag? Has anyone tried the dorman one?

As someone who just went through the nightmare of swapping oil pans out, I gladly paid the extra so I wouldn't have to do it over again. Was NOT going to chance the mating surface being out of spec.

Amen. I'm actually doing that right now. Nothing like a "quick" oil pan/motor mount/header install project. Haha.
