I've read tons of threads on this intake. Here are my questions...

This is on a stock 5.3 in my Street Rod 1936 Chevy.

Will this make the car a complete dog or will the losses be marginal?

What will I have to change injector-wise? (stock truck injectors now).

Will my stock DBW throttle body work?

you are going to lose a good bit below 5000 rpms or so, I haven't found solid numbers but I would expect to lose between 20-40 rwtq

it comes with rails which I believe work with the tall ls1 style injectors

not sure on the tb

Check the 20 intake comparison(google). It's not exactly what you have but will give you an idea of the % loss on the low end. It would look nice but unless you are adding turbos don't do it.

Isn't there a "Mid-Rise" Holley manifold available? It might save you some of that low end power and still have the Hi-Ram look.

BTW, you can look up the instruction sheet on Holley's website and it will tell you what injectors to use. Should have info on the TB bolt pattern too, but I'm 99% sure a stock DBW TB will boot right up, depending on the top used of course.
