Default Y-pipe banging driving my crazy

I am so tired of my y-pipe bumping under the floor of my car. I have had several brackets welded and still no fix. I wish someone would give me som good pointers to solve this.

I have a valve spring welded between the Y pipe and floor boards on the drivers side. I have never had any problems with it banging.

several pieces of thick heater hose it what i was taught, it eventually sets itself in i have had no problems. I have heard of the valve spring trick as well if mine ever stops working i might give that a trick i guess you have to weld it on though?
