Default Worth the swap?? Dual/Dual to Magnaflow....

I am thinking of swapping the D/D muffler for a Magnaflow muffler....it would be the direct replacement muffler, 3" in, dual 2.5" out crossflow.

Is it worth it to swap? I will have JetHot headers and a Hooker ORY.

I dont have the Y yet so I havent heard my car through the D/D, but how will they compare to each other?? I want something mellow with a deep tone on idle...

You will not pick up any performance, but you will get increased Rumble with the Magnaflow.

I specifically ditched the Magnaflow for the D/D because it sounded better. The magnaflow had too much rasp from the headers for my taste. IMO, the Dual/Dual is the nicest sounding exhaust out there.

I actually lost 10 rwhp going to the Magnaflow from my Stock SS exhaust. I would not do it if I were you.

Yeah, I have been looking around....

I am very pleased with my D/D...sometimes I wish it was louder...but I think I'll like it a lot once I get my y-pipe on as well as the CME.

It's so nice and quiet when cruising

Thats just a dyno difference, as there's no way to lose hp going from a stock muffler to a straight through design like the magnaflow. The magnaflow flows very well..better than the SLP D/D even.
