Default spark plugs and gaping

how do you gap a spark plug? and what tools do you need to do it?
whats the correct gapping for the NGK tr55s?

its time to replace my stock ones and start the modding of my ls1

You can pick up a spark plug gapping tool at the auto parts store cheap. Make sure and get the kind with the wire loops since its more accurate. Here's an example:



For a stock or near stock application, I'd gap the TR55's at about .050-.055". Make sure you get the tool that has the correct gap sizes since there are varying ranges.
