Default 1998 Z28 will not turn over

I am new, so let me know if I am posting in the wrong spot. I have a 1998 Z28 and was working on it and did not realize that I had dropped a socket onto the starter. Apparently I shorted something, because the car would do nothing. I found the large 50a fuse under the hood that controls the windows blown and replaced it. Now the windows work, but no Starter at all. Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, I know I should have disconnected the battery. Hind-sight, HUH!!!

Default It's alive

Back up and running. I smoked the Engine Control Fuse (50A) and the starter relay.
