Default Exhaust ?

I currently have long tubes, an xpipe, and 2.5" pipes through pypes violator mufflers.

Running a 5.3lsx also.

Would there be any downside to getting rid of the xpipe and mufflers? Just run open pipe behind the seats and cut it off?

Over 3k rpm it gets a little raspy.. anything I can do about that?

Doesnt the xpipe create or offer some sort of neccessary scavenging?

That's really strange... The X pipe should have gotten rid of most or all of the rasp, the way that it routes the exhaust flow and scavenges and pushes the exhaust.

I would think it would be worse open pipe behind the seats...

Bullet mufflers do a great job getting rid of rasp! They do tend to create drone however

Agreed with above... I'm running the TSP headers/xpipe/bullets and absolutely no rasp.

A hell of a lot of drone though.
