Looks like a midwest chassis loop. Much lighter and better ground clearance.

If it had resonators, it would sound perfect. The resonance at 1700... ugh.

I swear the very first one of these that kooks made was custom made for a guy with a black t/a and it had resonators under the rear passenger floor area. Maybe I assumed the production kit was going to be the same.

probably was a custom add on. this setup would indeed benefit some with resonators for head/cam cars....

Im almost positive this kit went into production after the system on the black t/a im thinking of. They probably used that car for the design. It had a pair of resonators in the mid pipes with the kooks logo on them. It also had better mufflers that were mounted vertical. Since it was on a t/a it hid them. It would not look good on a camaro

After talking with them the issue seems to be my Kooks headers are old. The angle of the collectors as you can see in the pictures angle upwards. The newer headers stay parallel to the bottom of the car. This is causing everything to not lineup as it was designed. So I have placed an order for a new set. Kooks gave me a good deal on them since this has been such an ordeal. I'm currently just waiting for a shipping notification email.
What year did you purchase the Kooks headers that did not fit? I am thinking about the Kooks true duals, and I have Kooks headers from 2006.
