Default LS6 85 mm Maf

I see a lot of people running major power mods running the Ls6 85 conversion maf. I have some basic bolt on's but wanted to know if its worth buying. My car is an 01 TA, let me know what ya think. I think most places sell them for $150.

If it's the "real" LS-6 / Z06 MAF you will need
tuning right away. If it's "calibrated for LS-1"
then it will probably work semi-OK but not be
much of a gain, if at all, and a potential cause
of slight tuning error. If you're down for that,
OK. But money is almost certainly better spent
elsewhere.

Once your heads, cam, exhaust and intake are
so fierce that you are inlet-tract limited, it will
begin to make more sense (if beastifying your
car to that degree can be said to have anything
to so with sense).
