Default Headers 241 heads vs 243

I have 241 heads on my 02 Ls1 with headers back setup. Gonna start accumulating the parts to rebuild the motor and bump the horsepower. My question is if I change from my 241 heads to the 243 heads to gain the compression and flow will my current headers work as I am going from a round exhaust port to a D port?

Thanks

What's your plan with the motor? Remember, the heads are what really make the power. Don't skimp there

Your headers are fine.

Tick polluter cam, 90mm throttle body, larger injectors, fast 90 intake, and bump the compression with the heads. Possibly bump it more with some bigger pistons, maybe up to 11.5 to one,Then port the heads as well. Better stall on my converter. And a tune. I am thinking this whole gas mileage thing is over rated. Lol
