Default Does anyone know what this plastic piece is?

So I tore apart my 4L60 I pulled from the yard to replace the pan they screwed up picking the truck up with a forklift.

Come to find out it’s not just a dent in the pan the crushed this black plastic filter thing.

Does anyone know exactly what it’s called and the part number for a replacement? I don’t need a whole rebuild kit for $300 or $80 with clutches and solenoids I don’t need.

Thanks in advance.

Ok I found it literally as soon as I posted this.

Its just the oil filter but does anyone know of a good one? I see some HORRIBLE and cheap looking ones on amazon and eBay.

Is there a OEM replacement?

Anywhere but there? Lol

Ive worked in the industry for about 20 years and know the dealership is the last resort.

Are there any 3rd party or after market filters as good that won’t cost me as much as this whole engine and trans cost me from the yard lol

Check the chain part stores. Autozone, O'Reilly's, PepBoys......etc.

Trans filters aren't anything like oil filters. They're all basically the same thing. Just snag a WIX one.
