Default LT ground clearance

I'm lookin to get some long tubes put on pretty soon. Right now I have Hooker shorty headers, but my car is also lowered. Sometimes when I go over speed bumps, the piping from my loudmouth scrapes a bit. I was wondering which LT's would be best for me. I'd really like to get the QTP's but I'm not sure what kinda clearance those give.

How lowered is your car? The cat back shouldn't be scraping. Lt's might kill you.

I've hear the SLP lt's are too low.

I have Dynatech's and they sit nice and tight. I have no ground clearance issues, but my car isn't that low.

Tough to tell. Definitely stay away from the SLP's.
I can say the Dynatech's or FLP's will work. Hopefull someone with QTP's will chime in with their opinion.

I believe all the Grott design headers ( Kooks, QTP, PPC, TR) tuck up as well or better than the other headers available.

One of my friends has a firehawk that is lowered and he scraps his tailpipes. He has MACs, and they never scrap. But, he also complains that they dont give him the power the LTs do. I have pacesetter LTs, and they really fit tight, and a easy install.

I recently installed QTP's and ORY. I have LG Super Springs (1.5-1.75 drop) and i don't worry about scraping the headers as they tuck up very well. Like someone else said they don't hang any lower then the stock ypipe did. The ORY is what i scrape when going over RR tracks or speed bumps.

Alright, I think I'll be going with the QTP LT's if there is no ground clearance issues. But I was also thinking about the Flowtech's which someone said was no problem with clearance. Which should I go with?

Edelbrock LT's install easy and have quite a bit of clearance even with a lowered car.

Pacesetters also tuck up really nicely... my headers and ORY combo has more ground clearance that I did on stock manifolds/cats and an SLP y-pipe. That SLP y-pipe hung REAL low...
