Default Installed Magnaflow 4x9's on True Duals

I got these in today, and they sound aweosme. I used to have Moroso Spiral Flows, but according to my dyno numbers, they didn't flow very well.

The Magnaflows are straight through, very similar to the bullet mufflers, but with a larger case. The exhaust has now a VERY low, deep sound to it, and is much more refined. There isn't any crackling or rasp. It's a little quieter than I would have wanted, but it's really nice. There is practically no more interior drone or rattles. In fact it is very quiet inside the car, at least quieter than the Spiral Flows. I lost a little ground clearence, but it's not too bad. I might be able to get some pics and sound clips up, but my camera sucks so it doens't take good video.

Just my $0.02

Are you planning to get it on the dyno to see if you get any gains over the moroso's?? I am curious as I have those mufflers, I'm sure others are too. I was told by the person who sold me the system (Lane's) that his car (bolt on car) dynoed the same with spiral's and bullets. Just curious what if any difference you see...

I don't plan to anytime soon. I might when I get some more mods, which would make a useless comparison between the two muffers. Since my peak torque was higher than my peak rwhp, I was told that this may be due to a restriction in the exhaust. There is no doubt in my mind that the 4x9's flow better than the Moroso's, since they are straight through. Hopefully I saw some gains, feels a little stronger, but it's hard to tell really.

I thought you might like them.
Magna 4x9s rock. I don't know why more people don't use them.

Very nice system BAIN, the black really did something for the appearance. How do those mufflers sound compared to the Sweet Thunder chambered? I realize they flow better then the STC's, but soundwise? Was thinking of getting the TSP system and replace the bullets with STC mufflers.

They have a nice deep powerfull sound driving around in town(not as loud as bullets, twisters,or chambered) and at cruzing speeds on the HWY they are as quiet as a normal catback.
