Default Oil drain bolt not budging!!

Trying to change my oil and the damn drain bolt will not give. The head is pretty rounded off and i'm going at it with vice grips and pliers. Nothin is helping.

What happens if i can't get the bitch to loosen.

I know i didn't tighten it that much from the last time i changed it. I don't remember cross threading it or whatever.

Try a six pointed 15mm socket and an impact wrench. Don't use a 12 pointed socket.

Oh, and before you pull the plug out, go to the GM dealer and get a new oil plug so you don't have to go through this again.

And if that doesn't work, you can use a dremel to cut a groove down the center of the bolt and then use a BF screwdriver (sideways) to put the mojo on it. It will ruin the drain bolt, but at least it will be off.
